I do not completely agree. This is a discussion group, and if there is a subject in which apparently a lot of people want to contribute, give opinions and info, I don't why not. If it gets personal for somebody, well that has to do with how people behave on the group and not with the subject itself. I do agree that the whole oil discussion seems to go nowhere most times, but the same argument could be used against (almost) any other topic.
