I just purchased Evapo-rust and wanted to know what I would use to plug the
bung and filler 
holes while treatment takes place? All input would help.

This was a can of liquid, no aerosol. I didn't run it through the engine
though. I used it to clean the tank while it was off and dried it before
filling it back up with gas. Digging through the archives on the group I
found the following thread discussing rusty tanks. The Kreem treatment, and
a product called "Evapo-Rust" that seems to be the bee's knees...
