They're conical in shape so pick one where the small end is just smaller than the opening and the large end is larger. I also drove a screw into the center of each one so I'd be able to pull it back out again easily. I didn't run it through the engine though. I used it to clean the tank while it was off and dried it before filling it back up with gas.
