It took me less time than i thought to come up with a way to attach the camera to the bike. remove a mirror and creat a bolt that would screw into the threads and into the tri-pod treads on the camera. you could do this on several different bolt hole on a bike but the mirror one are the easiest ones to get to. I actually want to sew a pouch to fit the camera on to my chest by attaching it to my riding vest. that way I would have the protection from the 70 mph bug. a place for the lens to protrude and turn on or off the camera with my left hand during the boring parts of the ride. I would just have to make sur e the camera is tight up against my body to ensure the video is not going to be a shot of the tank with pavement slipping by. another reason for wanting to use my digital is to have the sound. It has an incredible mic on it that for some reason blocks wind noise. it's awesome. it not perfect but it works better than most that i have used. crap now I have got to ask the wife to borrow her sewing machine, and explain that i have yet another new project.
