First off - you know you're bike better than anyone else can.  If you
ride it daily a slight change will be very noticeable and other people
wont even feel it.  We've all experienced this when taking a car or
bike to a mechanic and they can't replicate the problem.

I had a vibration / shimmying that was continually getting worse over
time.  At the time I had a really cheap Japanese no-name front tire.
When I replaced it the vibration went away.  I took a long look at my
old tire and found some flat spots and bumps that were clearly causing
the problem.
