Sounds like they bypasses both of your switches Joey. Mine will start if either the clutch in is or it's in neutral. The starter won't turn unless the clutch is depressed if I'm in gear. Your neutral safety switch is that big hump under the carburetors on the transmission. It's driven by a little cam on the shift drum and also works the 6th gear light.
