Today, my 19 year old "bargain bike" hit this major milestone, and did it,
as usual with strong performance and 59 MPG on our Sunday club ride. In
the 74K miles I've had it, other than regular maintenance parts, it's needed
only a starter rebuild, a replacement petcock, a valve cover gasket and,
of course, a tach. Next month, we will join a fleet of Goldwings and
expensive cruisers on a 2K jaunt up to the "Dragon" in North Carolina, which
will
be a good start toward our next milestone, 150K miles.

We in this group are smart indeed to see past all the "dull, boring" and
"no charisma" nonsense, and to be able to appreciate these remarkable low
cost, low maintenance, do anything Nighthawk bikes.
