My dad has relined helmets. Foam and the felt stuff and everything. I'm with
Matt tho, I wouldn't do it. That whole safety thing. I also feel your pain,
I think the Nolans and the Scorpions are really cool helmets but my head
just plain doesn't fit them. I also can wear the cheaper helmets like the
707s or whatever CycleGear calls them. I'd love a modular helmet with a flip
down visor but my head only fits Shoei's and to get those features in one of
those is $$$. So, I'm stuck with a plain jane solid black full face cheapest
shoei makes helmet :(
