Here's the problem: Back blinkers work fine and without a hitch. Front blinkers turn on like they're supposed to with the headlight when I turn the key, but don't work as blinkers. When I turn the blinkers on the front ones won't work (goes out completely) but the opposite side will still stay lit.
Bulbs are all good and both filaments in the front bulbs are in great shape. The old relay was shot so I replaced it. I did not replace it with a new Honda relay, I replaced it with a standard two prong relay from AutoZone. Could this be the problem? I have the wiring diagram, have worked through it, and all the wires/ connections seem to be in order. I took apart the left hand control and cleaned up the switch and everything seems to be in order there too.
