if i were to get the bike on deck (wont happen with the GL, but possably the aprilla) i would park it on the stern transverse... lash it to the rail and davits...
and yes the sails are more reliable, just not as easy to use for somebody that is still considering himself a novice sailor... ive lived onboard for about a year and a half, but havent taken it out to play near as much as i want to...
