Kurt, there are some products that can help a lot with the fogging issue. I use one I picked up at a local dealership. I can remember the name (I think something stupid like fog-away or similar), but I can tell you exactly once I get home. It smells a lot like acetone, so that is probably it. Another option, is something like this:
