I have a short on my '83 CB650SC that blows the 30 amp fuse on the
start solenoid assembly whenever the key is turned on. I've started
tracking it down and noticed that I have a direct short to chassis
from the downstream fuse terminal when the key is on On or Park, but
not on the other positions. The wiring diagram shows that what is
common in these two positions is the Tail/brake light sensor and the
wiring beyond. I'd like to disconnect the sensor as the next step, but
my Clymer manual doesn't indicate where it is.
Before I start stripping the bike to find it, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE
THE SENSOR IS?

Thanks,
Moontoad
