Just to update everyone, my nighthawk has really responded well to being run every day and on a tank containing some fuel system cleaner. The engine has really started to run a lot smoother and idles less precariously. Still waiting on air filter in mail but I'm fairly stoked about how she's running. I gave the chain its first cleaning in awhile and lubed it with some chain wax and some smoothness gains there as well.
One thing I notice is that this bike doesn't have the center stand, so it made lubing the chain a pain in the balls. I guess I need to go buy another pitbull.
