Indeed, I have a center stand that I installed on my 1996 750. It is being a while since then, but I think I paid around $120, and yes, installation was very simple and took about 30min. I strongly recommend the center stand over the pitbull, because (1) it may cost about the same; (2) you wont have it with you all the time. Also, with the center stand and some creativity, you should be able to taje both wheels of the bike, while with the pitbull that is impossible.
