Sounds like it is just a renamed vob file with a size like that. Could be a mpeg1. The current mpeg format is mpeg4, a dvd still uses the mpeg2 format. The newer the codec the higher the compression level. Any number of video conversion softwares can recode it to a different format. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

WMP in Mac doesn't work, neither does Mac Preview, Adobe Premiere, or any other player that I've tried. I need the video down to a reasonable size, like 15-20 megs. Movie maker created a smaller file, but changed all the colors to yellow and black. I think I want to re-rip the video and see what options are available. (I didn't do the original transfer). Anyone got any ideas? I would think that M-jpeg would be one of the highest compressions, but it does not appear to be doing the trick. You can just email me directly if you want.
