my tranny is shot on my 091 nighthawk 250.i have located an entire transmission at a california junkyard for just under 300 bux. my question: is it insane, if i take my time,to try rebuilding myself? i have worked on cars but am pretty much a novice with something this complex.i have the manual and the time and the tools.crazy to even attempt it?
