Ouch, that bites Graham. Maybe think about getting one of those external HDs that automatically backs you up? I've considered one for the laptop. Prices are really, really low these days; just a bit over a hundred dollars for a /Terabyte/. A terabyte! 1 TB, once considered an unattainable amount of storage space!
