Depending on which Hawk he has, it's certainly possible! But then again, license plates are kind of a dead giveaway. Probably not such a good idea. :(
To clarify what I said earlier though, in Wisconsin you can walk into the DMV after you move into the state, plop down your out of state license and pay the nominal fee and then you're a licensed Wisconsin driver. California must have some system where you can give them your Michigan license and get a California license. If they won't transfer your motorcycle permit endorsement, it should be simple enough to earn it again (if you can't, I'm impressed you passed the BRC :P). After that, hand them your skills test waiver and you have your motorcycle license. When you get home, repeat in reverse. It seems to be the easiest way, at least to me. Either that or just ride your bike without your motorcycle license. A lot of people do it, and if you have the skills necessary to safely ride one, you shouldn't be attracting too much cop attention. (This is bad advice and if any law enforcement officers read this, I did not give it!) -Will On Aug 4, 8:41 am, Javier Garcia <[email protected]> wrote: > Or just ride faster if a cop is chasing you ;-) > Javier. > > > > > > > > On Thu, Aug 4, 2011 at 5:53 AM, Will <[email protected]> wrote: > > I would scrap my MI license, go through the process CA style and then > > get my legit license when I get back to MI. > > > It looks like riding with his MI permit is not an option.
