While Christians are commanded to follow in Christ's footsteps. We do them out of love for our fellow man, whether we're appreciated or despised. Not because we are compelled to do so, or because it will earn us a place in Heaven. According to the Bible salvation is the free gift of God paid for by the sacrifice of Jesus. All anyone need do to receive it is to ask Jesus for it. Salvation is not by works alone. This is the primary separation between Christianity and other religions that believe in a paradise, as the others seek to tell you how to get there through your own deeds. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
