Never an unnecessary statement. One that everyone that works with chain should be reminded of. I've spent a month doing nothing but install chains for 12 hours a day... once tired I make a point of stopping to think through the rotation and which way the clip has to go... still get it wrong 1% of the time.

Kevin once you find a supplier and price let me know. I need the same. Clutch pack first for me. Going to call about local prices today.

Yeah, I've confirmed that the CB450SC, for all years (82 - 86) used a 17 in the front, a 36 in the rear, and a 530x106 chain (o-ring). I'm ordering all of those today as soon as I can find an o-ring or x-ring chain that I'm happy with reviews and descriptions of. I'm trying to get a clip master link instead of a rivet because I don't really want to have to buy a rivet tool and I don't think the massive power of the 450 is going to overwhelm the clip
