I picked up my 86 goldwing 1200 with 80k miles after sitting for years. After a
new battery and an over night carb clean i rode my find to work the next day. I
paid 500 for it! The great thing about the goldwings is that because alot of
people have them and they are super reliable most bike shops will still work on
them and you can still get parts... Did i mention that she is my daily rider? I
do not own a cage so i am on 2 wheeles every day (sorry to rub that in north of
i 10 guys)

That's near where my mom lives. Would you trust a bike that is that old,
and would you expect motor work on a bike that old. I guess I could fly out
and ride it back. But it would be a big gamble if the engine had a nock or
other major problem. What's your thoughts.

Ron
