Yea I'm stumped. When I ruined mine with car oil, it just slipped under power, no change in lever feel. And I would expect that cold oil would be worse I have ridden bikes that are hard to shift when cold, and get normal once warmed up. Bike clutches have a smaller friction zone and until you get used to them they seem to grab all at once. Could that be the issue? How much riding experience do you have? It is normal for the bike's clutch to be fully engaged prior to full release of the lever. Same goes for disengage it should happen before you fully pull in the lever. Start there and make sure your clutch pull is correct. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

JASO/MA spec? If not you could be burning up your clutch with friction modifiers for car engines. -Joey On Wed, Apr 25, 2012 at 6:41 AM, Dave D <[email protected]> wrote: > I'll add that when the the clutch is cold (first mile or two), it's smooth > through the entire friction zone but after it warms up it starts acting up. > > Dave > > > On Tue, Apr 24, 2012 at 6:01 PM, Allen Thomas <[email protected]>wrote: > >> ** >> Sounds normal to me. >> Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T >> ------------------------------ >> *From: * Dave D <[email protected]> >> *Sender: * [email protected] >> *Date: *Tue, 24 Apr 2012 15:48:59 -0400 >> *To: *<[email protected]> >> *ReplyTo: * [email protected] >> *Subject: *Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Seafoam at Walmart >> >> It's a mechanical (cable) type clutch.
