Its main ingredients, according to its MSDS is pale oil, naptha and
IPA.

Pale oil is a highly refined light machine oil used primarily as a
lubricant in such items as barber clippers and sewing machines.

Naptha is lighter fluid.

IPA is isopropyl alchohol -- ordinary rubbing alcohol.

So Seafoam is an excellent cleaning agent for occasional flushing of
sludge and stuff, but doubtful there's any advantage to using it as a
routine oil additive.
