Hi Dennis,  I just got back from New Zealand.  My sister in law died of a heart 
attack so I was in the Tauranga/Gisborne area for 11 quick days.  I think 14k 
is real good for tires and remember different tire pressures affect tire life 
and the Avons may require a different pressure than the Dunlops.  I saw Harleys 
in NZ on this trip - I hadn't seen them before and quite a few upright sport 
bikes I have never seen here (like a Honda GSX1400),  Graham
