Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Turn signal problems - AGAIN ALLEN!

This summer I bought a 1983 Nighthawk 650 at a yard sale. It had been in a
barn for many years and was home to a family of mice or whatever lives in PA
barns. Someone had remove the boots between the carbs and the air box which
delighted the mice no end because it provided them with four aluminum waste
disposal units. Some of the wiring was eaten through. I have replaced what I
could, replaced the waste disposal units and cleaned, cleaned and cleaned. I
have the motor running, it runs real nice and everything works except the TURN
SIGNALS.
Here's what I've got. The front signals running lights work. When I activate
the left hand signal, the left hand running light goes off but the turn signal
element does not work. Activating the right hand turn signal does the same. The
RH running light goes out but the turn signal element doesn't work The rear
turn signals do not come on at all. So, Allen, Jason, anybody, WHAT'S
GOING ON? Graham
