Actually, maintenance is rather low. Check the oil, coolant and go. I've had 
all 
the pieces off a couple of times to add mods and had very little trouble, and 
I'm not a "wrench". It's more trouble to get the valve cover off my '85 
CB650SC. 
And it's a great touring bike. And I'm 82 now.

As I recall, it came in just three basic colors -- black, white and a
couple different shades of red.  No blue.

Reaction to it has always been ambivalent.  Some say it looks like a
scooter on steroids, while others think it's sleek and sexy.

I toyed with the idea of buying one, but my overriding thought was,
with all that Tupperware, I'll bet it's a bitch to work on.

I like the trunk, tho.
