You have to use a 2-part urethane clear if you want it to be gasoline resistant otherwise if you spill or drip during a fill your paintjob will be ruined. Urethane is not compatible with all paints so choose your color wisely.

It was a relief to see it didn't have any hidden flaws. I did a light coat of Rustoleum Primer, wet sanded it & added another coat of primer. That's gonna be it for now until warmer weather arrives in the Spring. This will be the first time in 4-years the bike will spend the winter inside since I now own something with 4-wheels. I was curious if there were any types/brands of paint/clear coat that are of superior quality in a spray can? I thought a friend owned a spray gun, but found out it was borrowed from someone who is very protective of their tools. Just thought I'd run it by some folks with experience.
