If you already have a decent sized compressor, it might be worth it to spend the ~$40 or so to get an HVLP. I know a couple folks using this one<http://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/paint/high-volume-low-pressure-gravity-feed-spray-gun-66222.html> to quite good results. Then if you ever get the urge to paint something else, you already have the equipment and the paint will be cheaper.
