While you're studying up, there's something else you might want to consider in terms of paint color.
The 550 was produced for only one year (1983), so it is fairly rare, even among the other Nighthawks of that era. Dunno how collectible that makes it, but it might be a more attractive sale if you kept the color a stock one for that year. They came in Candy Presto Red (maroonish), color code R-8C-S, and Black (NH1). Of the two, black would be cheaper and easier to apply, especially for a newb, since it the process requires one less step. The candy and metallic colors require a base coat as well as a color coat in addition to primer and clear.
