I'd doubt the CBR owners would appreciate it any more than the VFR guys, for 
the same lack of control reasons.

If you look, most of the DCT equipped bikes are ones rolling out with
new-design engines. The structure of a DCT transmission isn't very retrofit
friendly, so it makes sense that it's being first introduced alongside the
new VFR engine and their new 700cc twin.

I'm sure that if they feel the target demographic would be receptive to the
quicker shifting, the next time the CBRs get a new engine they'll have a
DCT option.
