The way I see it, scratches and dents show that you actually use your bike. Mine has some love marks that don't worry me a bit. The only time I even notice them is when something else happens to my bike and I'm looking it over. :P I'm glad I purchased my NH used with a few bumps already on her. Made my first damage to it less heart-plummeting.
