Before I sold my NH I repaired a leaky shock. When I was in there, I discovered worn brakes. I purchased the $10 ones on Ebay since it was on my dime. They came quick. They went in well and worked well. Was done in 15 minutes. But I cannot speak to long time wear and use. I have heard of cheap ones digging into the rotor. Didn't seem to be happening. But for 10$ you can buy three of the others. It's not a rip off. FWIW. I'll be riding my '96 NH750, and before I go I'd like to put new brake pads on the front. Now my local Honda dealer is quoting about $45 for a set, and Ebay has got all the way from $10 with free shipping up to $52. Can anybody take a few minutes to give their opinion as to where the sweet spot is so I can have this thing ready for the trip? Organic? Sintered? Semi-sintered? Semi-metallic?
