So my Nighthawk is back on the road. The solenoid replacement from Nebraska
came through for me. Turns out topping off those dry battery cells have at
least for the moment revived that old battery so I guess now I have a spare.
The new solenoid is of the opposite orientation so now I have to come up with a
way to mount it safely. The fuse and plug are on the inside of the unit like it
was maybe intended for use on the opposite side of the bike. But it's working.
That's the important part. Right?

I stopped at advance auto and they had exactly what you have in the picture.
Well once I added the connectors of course. Now I get Single click Again. I'll
have to bring it home tomorrow so I can work on it in the garage. Right now
it's raining and has been for several hours.  I don't like riding in the rain.
