Great! I just got a deal from the dealer on some heated handgrips, and haven't had time to put them on yet. Yeah, I hate screwing around with $10 one time use glue myself. Hairspray does a couple of neat things I can't remember right off. But my paresteshia from gripping the grips will sure be glad when I get them installed.
Thanks for the timely information :-) On Friday, November 1, 2013 9:47:36 PM UTC-7, Tim Barber wrote: > > THANKS for all the great info! :-) > I tried the hairspray today and it worked GREAT! > I have added the can of hairspray to my tool collection. > This board is a very good thing! :-) > Tim > > On Friday, October 4, 2013 12:19:09 PM UTC-7, Tim Barber wrote: >> >> Is there a "trade secret" for installing OEM hand grips on a 98CB750NH? >> I had *EXTREME* difficulty yesterday installing an OEM hand grip on the >> throttle pipe.
