I HATED my Nighthawk for a couple of years but didn't want to sell it
because someone much wiser than I am told me it was a great bike. I felt
like I was leaned forward a little too much, but that little too much made
my hands go numb and my back ache. I was ready to sell it because it just
didn't work for me, but I recalled that it was supposed to be such a great
bike, so I got some handlebar risers as a last shot at making the bike more
to my liking. Those risers changed EVERYTHING.
It brought them up maybe an inch and back maybe an inch, which put me in
enough of an upright position to make a difference. No more numb hands or
sore back. I LOVE this bike now and am so glad I didn't sell it.I have a
Triumph Thunderbird too, but ride the NH regularly. It was my first bike
and I plan on keeping it until I can't ride anymore.
And I didn't have to lengthen anything or change anything, just put them on
and done.
