Thanks.  Plugs are new and the old ones, although wrong brand looked fine when 
I took them out.  Air filter is clean and new.  Will try the extra plug check.  
When I open the throttle while cranking, it doesn't help at all, at least to 
start on that try.  It never even sounds like it might go.  It may help clear 
it, but does not seem to encourage a start.

So reasons for rich:
Pilot screws
Leaking intake boots make it lean, right!
Not turning off fuel valve when I stop?
Choke plungers. Fix?  A little WD-40 until I can get in there...
What am I missing!
