Joe,

Sorry you had to learn this lesson in such a hard way. I strongly advice
against the use of any of those products on motorcycles. As Kyle said, no
only the tires, but also seat (you can slide off), foot pegs or controls in
general. I know rubber parts tend to look "good" when shinny but all of
them are there for a particular function, and those products will only mess
with them. Chrome and pain you can go nuts and make them shiny as much as
you want, but to everyone here, please, forget about shinny rubber on your
wheels... is not supposed to be shinny!
