Hi all. New(ish) member, here. I'm faced with a speedometer issue. In short, I replaced my wife's tires recently on a '97 Nighthawk 250 and after putting the front wheel back on, I discovered re-fastening the speedo cable to be more tedious than expected. The speedometer is no longer functioning. The screw by the front brake doesn't want to hold it in, either.
What tips do you guys suggestion when putting everything back together? Namely, what are the pitfalls and target items to eyeball?
