I dunno, but times I've had a stuck float the bike just kept dumping gas whether is was running or not, as gravity does not need the help of an engine to pull gasoline from the tank down to the carbs and out the overflow. Sounds like Tommy is right about it being the gas supply tube that connects the carbs. The o-rings might need to be replaced. If anybody knows a good source of them, I'd like to know, too.
