Javier that is because I did it, at least on your NH and CBR. Tommy the plastic cap that holds the needle into the slide, has a post on its under side that holds the spring that keeps tension on the needle. It is that post on the plastic cap that needs to be shaved enough for two washers to fit. Otherwise it bottoms out on the needle and won't allow you to lock it into place.
