Thanks, Allen. This mod is to richen the bike, correct? So if I reset the pilot screws wouldn't that have the same effect?
With the mod, the bike was not running great, so I removed the one washer. Without the washer, it still ran poorly. I suppose the pilot screws were messed with by the PO, since I carefully considered the turns and reinstalled exactly the same. (This set of carbs was out and had been partially rebuilt). I was surprised at the difference in the settings and the local shop tech said that is not normal.
