If it will idle at all, let it do so for a couple of minutes and carefully touch the exhaust pipes and make sure each cylinder is firing.
Why do so many people say not to split the carbs? I split mine to replace the oring on the fuel rail and it all went back together easily. Just gotta synch the carbs. On the 650 and 700S, all slides operate together.
