I learned about the sidestand issue from experience. Mine came with a 650
front end (no idea how I missed that when I bought it) which lowered the
bike about an inch. Parking was a pain with that. Over the years and
several eBay auctions I've put the original 700S front end back on it.
Honestly the best part about the transplant is being able to use my
sidestand again.
