I got home from work, the engine was nice and warm, I drained the oil, took the filter cover off and let it drip out. The filter cover will not go back on. I can't turn the bolt more than 4 times with out feeling like the threads are about to strip. Could this be temperature related? The engine cooled completely before I tried to re-install the filter assembly. Should I stick the bolt in my freezer or blast the block with a hair dryer?!
