I have been pre-occupied with this idea that what I really want next is a PC800, as late a model as I can find.
I don't want anything as big as the ST1300's, let alone the grand GW. How I got here: I love the `83 NH 550 for many reasons. I have put over 30k on mine. However, I am getting a little tired of the age of the equipment (maintenance), though shaft drive and never needing to adjust valves is effing grand! I want to sit up when I ride. I want a little more cargo space, real cargo, not yuccy add-ons. Most riding is in and around town, so a really big bike won't be fun. Need to be able to sit on it for a tank of gas (a while). The NH has plenty of power for anything I have ever wanted to do, and it is a lot of fun too. (Yes, I am under 180 lbs.) However, so far the only thing I have against the PC800 is that I would kinda like something with fuel injection. So tell me, why am I nuts here? What am I forgetting that will persuade me not to be so preoccupied with getting a PC800? Thanks for any thoughts. Oh, and finally.
