Allen, based on the size of the "extra" plunger they sent me, it seems like 
it's big enough. Measuring across the rubber part seems to be about 15mm, 
certainly more than 14mm. Unless you meant the actual brass piston? The 
smallest part of the piston, where it is the deepest into the MC (opposite 
end from your handle) is only 6mm. The actual volume of the MC reservoir is 
more than my old one but everything else seems to translate fine.

I'll take it to a shop and ask them to bleed it for me and then I guess 
I'll look at replacing the brake lines... is there a good way I can test 
the MC before ordering replacement lines? To isolate where the problem is?
