Mark, I've got a centerstand on it. It's hard to live without for chain, tire, or any other type of maintenance. Portable stands are a logistics issue I'd rather not deal with due to the inconvenience factor and maintenance support when you need it the most: on the road. And for stability, it's best having the choice between the side or the center stand for the best possible support to keep the bike upright in any condition and any terrain.
It is near number one priority accessory on any bike I get. Nighthawks were lucky to have oem excellent engineered ones at less than half the cost of my current bike's. But at least my model had one available with a decent vendor (SW Motech) 'almost' as good as an Jap oem, so I am happy.
