I don't know what your plans are but......    If you're going to Vancouver 
BC then head east up through Whistler.  There's a town 8 miles out of 
Whistler called Pemberton.  Great little town with an even better B&B and a 
restaurant / bar called the Pony.  from there you can head East through 
Kamloops and Salmon Arm.  I did that trip twice.  Once on a 83 650 and 
another time with the family in a car.  It is the most amazing open country 
I've ever seen.  On the bike I dropped into Washington state and in the car 
we came back into Idaho.  If I had it to do over I would have gone further 
east still in Canada.  It really is amazing country and you could hit it at 
the best time of year.

I think I posted about the ride but that was 4 or 5 years ago.
