Did you go to Victoria BC? I grew up in Tacoma (Family moved to Nor Cal when I was in 8th grade) and when I did my trip I got on the Ferry in Port Angeles. Funny thing is - it's the same exact ferry from the mid-70's. I have a picture of me standing in the exact spot as when I was in maybe 6th grade. I took my family on the same trip a year later and have a picture with the family in the same spot. Great memories. I'll have to dig up some of the pictures from those trips. It really is pretty in Western Canada and the weather is great for about 2 months of the year. Anyway - keep heading east in Canada as long as you can. I think it's prettier than the equivalent parts of the US and you'll probably not make it back any time soon. Sean
