Don't mean to thread jack but, when I measure my battery volts at 3k rpms, it's at 13.3 volts with the tester leads connected red to batt positive and black to batt negative. But when I touch my testing lead anywhere else, brake pedal, another part of the frame, etc, I'm getting closer to 15 volts. Can I re ground my cable elsewhere or do you guys think I need a new ground cable? I've been having some charging issues lately and stator tests good, reg tests good. I'm just getting better reading when I ground my battery someplace else.
